drive south of Perth along Southwest Highway or Old Coast Road.

Eaton Campsite is the ideal place for school camps or outdoor retreats. With modern and
comfortable facilities, it caters for mixed accommodation of up to 64 people plus leaders. Once
you’ve settled in, get ready to enjoy all the riverside fun and activities on offer.

all ages.

FAQs

Can we have a campfire?

Yes, depending on current fire season and warning level. Information is available on the Shire of Dardanup website. In any case you should contact the local fire officer (Chris Hynes 0428825496) for confirmed permission. There is a campfire circle on the riverbank, or we provide a cast iron fire bowl for use undercover.

Do we have to share the site facilities with other Clients?

No, you will have exclusive use of the site and its facilities except that the local scout group has access to the outside toilet block during their weekly meetings.

Is Archery available and how?

Archery is available by arrangement. A suitably trained leader is required, and an additional charge is made for this activity.

Is the site available to non-scout groups?

Yes, the site is available to all community groups including but not limited to youth groups, schools, sporting organisations, common interest groups etc.

Is there a Scout representative on site for reference and queries?

Yes, there is a caretaker resident on the site?? Or you are invited to call 0439097277 for advice.

What accommodation is available?

There are 70 beds all double bunks. There are 2 dormitories with 18 beds, 2 dormitories with 14 beds and a smaller room with 6 beds. See plan for arrangement. There is space for 10 tent sites – these are undefined, and client can arrange.

What is the total capacity of the site?

The site has a name plate capacity of 70 people. Additional capacity by arrangement.
