Scouts WA acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land upon which our office, halls and campsites are located, and those of lands across Australia. We pay respect to their Elders, past, present and future.

Scouts WA embraces the diversity of its people, such as differences in cultural backgrounds, race, ethnicity, disability, age, gender identity or sexual orientation.

Our way.

The Scout Movement contributes to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens, and as members of their local, national, and international communities. All youth who visit a Scouts WA Adventure Centre are always welcomed and encouraged to participate at their comfort level.

We are a challenge-by-choice centre that respects diversity and differentiates our activities to meet the needs of our customers.

Life without adventure would be deadly dull. We see our activities as opportunities to increase resilience, problem-solving skills, independent thinking while also fostering teamwork, respect, and communication.
There is very little in life that can compete with that!
It’s not enough to simply triumph over our activities; we encourage you to take your experiences and apply them to other challenges life presents. If you can conquer your fears with us, what else can you conquer in life?

That’s it, really. The most worthwhile thing for us is to put happiness into the lives of others.
